Irina Terehova (Russian: ÐÑина ТеÑÐµÑ Ð¾Ð²Ð°; born 13 April 1989) is a Russian writer and model. She is also known as Irina Tee as her writer's name. Terehova immigrated from Moldova to Canada at the age of twelve. From 2015 to 2016, she was a controversial writer for a clickbait Montreal news website called MTL Blog. In 2016, she married Lethwei World Champion fighter Dave Leduc in a nationally televised wedding ceremony in Myanmar.

Born in ChiÈinÄu, in the Moldavian SSR, republic of the Soviet Union in 1989 to a modest family, Terehova immigrated in 2001 to Montreal, Canada at the age of twelve. She studied at McGill University, majoring in Finance.

In 2016, Terehova met French Canadian professional fighter, Lethwei World Champion Dave Leduc, when she took a trip to Thailand. The two had never met before, but after writing a story on Dave, Irina decided to leave Canada and meet him in Phuket. It was love at first sight, the trip was supposed to last 2 weeks, but Irina decided to stay and live with Dave. Journal de Montreal and Huffington Post Quebec both covered the romantic exile of Irina, labeling it The Romance Story of the Year.
Wedding
On October 12 2016, at dawn, the couple got engaged on the Shwesandaw Pagoda overlooking the thousands of temples in the beautiful ancient city of Bagan, Myanmar.
On 13 December 2016, the two got married in a traditional Burmese wedding ceremony, in Yangon. The ceremony was nationally televised on MRTV with an approximate of 30 million viewers catapulting them to the status of celebrity in the country.
According to Burmese Magazine The Yangon Times, the couple is a national emblem in Myanmar and also frequently making headlines for their exotic lifestyle. Irina and her husband currently reside in Phuket, Thailand.

In 2015, Irina started her personal blog where she wrote a piece Things I Hate About Dating And Relationships in Canada that shocked the world. It sparked various debates in worldwide media, especially in Russia and Canada. She gained widespread attention because of her writing style and subjects. The same year she got approached to join the MTL Blog team.

In 2015, while at MTL Blog as Irina Tee, Terehova wrote multiple provocative articles about relationships and dating. She received criticism for allegedly perpetuating rape culture and supporting misogyny. While numbers were off the chart for the company, Irina was the subject of requests from readers asking for her demission, thus making her even more popular.

In 2004, at 15 years old, Terehova secretly entered a Montreal pageant in Miss Soyuz, reserved for adults, that she went on to win 1st place. She started her modeling career signing with NEXT Model Management in Montreal. Terehova executed modeling contracts for Loreal, La Senza, Escada and Rusk. She was featured in Canadian magazines such as Marie Claire and LOU LOU.

In 2009, Terehova was chosen to feature as the Race queen in the EA and Ghost Games celebratory video created for the Need for speed series, as the franchise pushes over the 100 million mark, making it the best-selling racing brand in the world.
